This spring is turning into a mystery to find online. The picture is actually of my brake pedal return spring, assuming both are the same? Anyone have one laying around?

74 spring should be the newer version.

The early version is available at Walloth or the dealer or ecs

I assumed because the pedal didn't come back up that a spring was missing, upon a second look it does have the later style and seems to be intact. Now to figure out why it's not doing its job.

Check fluid level first!
If it’s right at the clutch nipple level it’s time to going hunting for the wet spot. Look at carpet at clutch pedal. Verify that master has not broken at connection to pedal

I'll check them thank you, but what does any of that have to do with pedal lift/return?

You need to check that spring to see if it is broken.
a properly working clutch system returns the pedal without the spring. The spring just assists.

I may need to capture a video to make it clear but it looks to me the clutch pedal is actually pulling this spring apart as the pedal goes up, which seems backwards of what it is supposed to do. Still working through it.. I do have the later style that mounts to the firewall.
