WTB: Drive shaft alias propeller shaft

There is a place in Portland, OR, that has BMW driveshafts. http://www.driveshafts.com/
I sent mine down to be rebuilt and shortened for the 5 spd conversion. They install a grease nipple on the new 'U' joints. You can probably also obtain one without a core. Make sure you get the correct length.

I have a pair of clean zeniths if interested - $150 for the pair + shipping. They have been out of the car for about 1-1/2 yrs. They were rebuilt about 9k miles ago by a place in S. California. PM if interested.

If you have a drive shaft that needs rebuilding/shortening look in your local yellow pages under drive shaft and it will give you resources.
You live in the bay area from you sign in. "Drive line industries" is listed.
I personally used the same company just a reno outlet.
Also using the search button will give you vast amounts of info with the measurements needed!

I have a parts car with a driveshaft. Not sure its condition. I also have Zeniths on my CS (not the parts car) that I was planning on replacing. They work great except for a slight stumble off of idle. I'm assuming an accelerator pump replacement would fix it, but I haven't looked at it yet. I also have another set with the parts car that would need a complete rebuild.

I'm in the Sacramento area.

Sven,
Thanks for the reply, I'm very interested in the carbs, were they re-jetted for a 3.5L? I have transplanted 3.5L from a 735, big valve head w/ the original cam, w/ the slightly re-jetted zeniths . Can't seem to dial it in with the jets I have, runs rich driving at 2.5K to 3.5k rpm (850mv to 900mv), but lean at idle(<100mv). I've installed an O2 sensor at both exh. down pipes and reading the mv output (400mv= ideal). Anyway I'm also rebuilding the original 3.0 motor and I'm thinking on of installing your carbs. Thanks
Manny
