Mine just fell apart at the slider piece that attaches to the window glass.

No even sure this is the orignal motor and mechanism

Now that I have removed the assembly I see it was jury rigged in place and has an alignment issue. This is likely why the post broke.
Question: is this the correct mechanism and motor for this car? Likely not.
