WTB e3 door brake

Looking for the driver front door brake for my 1972 Bavaria. I have a Mercedes brake on the passenger front door. Heavy duty but makes a loud snapping noise twice when the door is opened or closed. So I suppose a stock brake is the way to go. Or a brake that is interchangeable but silent.

Steve, check the pin at the A pillar, that may be making all the noise, there should be a plastic bushing between the pin and the bracket

As long as the brake brakes, everything is fine. Trouble starts only when it cracks or the arm of the brake vanishes into the door. When you check the pins as suggested, in case they have travelled upwards, push them into position, rear doors also. As for noises, sometimes a little grease can work miracles.
