Hi all, looking for a front windshield rubber seal for a 1975 BMW 3.0Si. This is the later thicker seal required.

Happy some seal seems to be available at least. Part number confusion was my fault, obviously. I only gave the number of the seal's final version. 51 31 1 814 611 is the forerunner of 51 31 1 828 248, makes no difference which you use. These days: use the one that is available. Interesting is Kapteijn offer the seal by the older number and seem to have some. W&N use the later number to tell you they have none. BMW tell us the one that ends 235 is for 3.0 S & Si USA version only. Don't know about the differences, though. Did the USA E3 come with thicker glass?
