Hi Dan I found this today, it’s my original mechanical fuel pump (1972) that was working and stored properly when I removed it for my Webers. Looks dirty but that’s just the yellow cad wearing off. If you can use it, it’s yours for cost of shipping since I can’t guarantee it’s still fit for duty (but it should be) just let me know.

I was hoping to find one that can be disassembled to see if I can get it rebuild.
I would like to get yours and then I will see if I can get mine rebuild.

sort of mismatch, the one with screw in middle can not be rebuild
membrane is internal and not accesible, if I am not mistaken
earlier (even earlier) ones can be rebuild

obviously the one you pictured is clearly different than the one I posted, so everything is possible

Interferes to what extent? I had an issue (Webers) but I just ground down a little edge of the pump and it worked fine.
That might be a possibility. There isn't a lot of interference. I would like to find another original.
FWIW, the one you show from RMEuropean is the one I have and ground a little off the edge to fit.

I had a clearance issue as well, with the Pierburg and my Weber 32/36s. Managed to adjust to fit. On to something else....
