WTB - Headlight dip switch

I need a headlight dip switch for a '71 2800cs, anyone have one or have tips on how to repair one that has broken?

Need to know what year and model as there 3 listed in the parts manual. chassis number would be helpful.
I have a couple from a UK 3.0cs

la jolla have one for about 290 bucks...so l'm going down the repair route.

The first attempt went about as well as "top kill". Second attempt I used different glue, drilled a small hole with the dremel and put in a micro screw, for good measure I shortened the spring so that there wasn't so much pressure the trade off being a less positive click... fingers crossed I'm confident enough that I've refitted and think it will hold.
