Finally got my bodyworks sorted out and we are starting in 3 months.
Need to source the following parts. Some I'll probably just get from W&N but thought other bits some members might have. I've left my W&N book out in the shed so don't have the part numbers handy right now.
PM me if you think you can help.

2 x grilles for bonnet;

2 x grills on fender;

Black inserts for fender grills;

Bonnet roundel inc gasket - mine is roached;

Ignition key cover;

3.0 & C.S badge in good condition;

Set of windshield rubbers, front and rear;

Rubber door window strip x 2

Rear window rubber strip x 2

Rear bumper rubber;

2 x wiper nipples - mine are pitted and painted silver;

Air dam;

Boot rubber;

Full set of window rubbers;

Pair of mirrors;

Plus who knows what else once we get involved on stripping down.

Brand new roundel and 3.0 Badge here, no CS badge though i'm afraid but could probably source one

Also need one of these as it's broken:

The plastic inserts around my mirrors is also shot. Can this be replaced or do I buy new mirrors?

Same for my window rubbers, I'm assuming I just grab these from W&N?

Same for these little seals peaking out from under the chrome trim

Spend some time on RealOEM.com and the Walloth site and you will find part numbers for most of the rubber. The mirror surround is not replaceable on flag style mirrors.

Chrome grilles? NLA IIRC.

Black ones are still available.

Can get them chrome plated too if need be

All E9 BMW roundels, CS and 3.0 badges are still available from BMW new. Also I spotted an OEM 3.0 badge currently Ebay. Don't get second hand badges, buy brand new ones they look much nicer.

(also be careful you don't buy Chinese made copies, as they will turn yellow after a few months)

Just spotted this e-Bay listing from a Lithuanian seller for a right side chrome bonnet/hood grille -

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine-BMW-2-5CS-3-0CSL-68-75-Left-Chrome-Grille-1827281-OEM/283089691022?hash=item41e975e18e:g:XvMAAOSwk3BbaE2j&_sop=10&_nkw=bmw+3.0+csl&rt=nc

Also selling a chrome left fender/wing grille -

Good luck

Marco

I’d be interested in this as mine are also damaged. Where do we find parts and how is this able to be done?

black frames are the way the mirror is fixed, the frame itself is loose in the mirror cover, but once the mirror glass is in its frame if you press it against the cover it gets fixed in its place
it is critical to remove the old glass with its old frame
i would cut the old frame border so the glass slips inside the cover
i did this in my lh side mirror
problem, yes, so far no more frames available, i had a couple of them but fixed a couple of them for friends

Hi Wes,
I have a bunch of stuff, some old some new, left over from my restoration including a few over ordered W&N items. How about working out what you need / want in total in order to send it all at one time. You planning a trip to the Gold Coast at all?
