WTB lock for drivers side compartment.

WTB lock for drivers side compartment. It is the lock for the small box which accesses the hood release.

Does anyone know if there are any around for sale? Tomkinson says that they can get them on their site but when ordered it came back as NLA.

It is for my 1972 3.0csi

Any help is appreciated.

I assume yours has the large plastic knob, no lock, just the latch? Andrew has my spare early style which is a chrome button.

quick question - what is the right way to get the existing button out ... i want to refinish the door. and my button is not centered on the hole.

The button itself screws out. It is back nutted with a flat piece of metal which can turn with pliers or is notched for a screwdriver.
