Anyone have a manifold and linkage for triple Webers for sale? I have carbs but nothing else. I know the parts are available new but...the clamp-on arms look a little sketchy.
Also need water bypass stuff, thermostat housing if different, vacuum fittings, etc. Just have carbs.

Thanks, Andy

Korman still sells the tstat housing, and I think they sell manifolds too. This is a Korman manifold, which I purchased used.

Here is an alternative for the linkage. Lower connecting rod and bell crank are stock; Pierce manifolds sells the upper rod, levers and couplers:

I have a Korman stage 2 engine with their intake manifold. I bought the small trumpets and screen covers for the DCOE 40 Webers from Pierce Manifolds. They clear the stock big brake booster. I only had them on the carbs for a few weeks and want to sell them. I decided to get the last 3 Lynx air filters that Korman had in stock for the present time.

This is what I was thinking about, as it's what's on my 2002 with a cable pulling down between the carbs and it works great. I did have a concern about the twisting force on the throttle shaft of the center carb while driving the outboard carb. Any issues with that? OTOH I've had bad luck with the "flying buttress" overhead linkage and the clamp-on arms.

Has anyone ever milled a manifold to change the carb level angle a little and thus lessen interference between the air horns and the stock booster? I understand about level carbs and float/fuel levels, but...these carbs (38DCOE) use flat bolt-on horns that hold the chokes and venturis in, unlike the bigger carbs with the slip-in air horns and little retainers.

I did a successful booster-delete on the 2002 (actually a 67 1600 at birth - with the odd remote booster) to deal with this issue instead of converting to a 2002/Tii booster assembly. That probably won't work here and the Tii booster has it's own issues. Be nice to make it all work as-is.

I've not noticed any discernable issues with throttle shaft torque, if any it's only on very rapid blipping of the throttle even then I don't think it's an issue. Back in the day VGS made just the manifold you describe, they're quite rare but once in a while come up on German eBay. I have one, and it clears the thermostat housing and brake booster.

Yes the sound is totally worth the effort. The distributor is the missing link for side drafts, it allows much more precise tuning and adjustment of the throttle plates and jetting with its programmable timing curves.

Question: what is the the trick/solution for the T-stat housing?
Looks like the solution is has the inner hose (closest to the first carb) routed slightly higher to clear the air bleeder valve.
My T-sat housing/hose is sitting atop the bleeder air bleeder valve...

TIA

The solution usually is to get the modified t-stat housing from Korman, also @Markos had a spacer solution made, not sure if any more exist.
