It seems leather Petri's are easier to find. I know the new ones suck, but I'll try to make it work with some mods. Thanks.

In one of my engines i used the new one bought from W&N (if i remember correctly it was SWAG brand) and i just had to grind/round the sharp rubber edges so chain didn't hook on them.
Yes any install of the new ones requires customization. They’re nothing like the original one.
Add the tensioner piston 11311744347 to the list of perpetual backorder, it only fits 2002, e9, e3, e21, e30, e12, e28, e23, e24, e32, e38, and e31, why would they bother to produce this part? 
Thanks I have one in good shape to use, was going to replace since they used to be readily available but it's not urgent. More of a frustration rant!
