WTB: Old style relays

If you saved the old one they can be retrofitted with new ones inside but the socket spades will have to be rearranged because the in/out wiring is different. Result is new relay/classic look. Old ones in good condish are not easy finds.
 
I was thinking about doing that. Im not sure how to gut the old style (so that I can use it as a cover for the new style) without really mangling it up. Take a dremel to the bottom cover ?
 
I pryed the lip up slowly in small increments all around just enough to get the bottom out. Thinned down the base so the prongs of the new plastic square relay stick out as far as possible and then reattached. Not perfect, but from above you don't notice. A dremel and glueing would likely yield a cleaner result. I need to get one of those...
 
Recently bought a guys stock of old OEM BMW parts (not only E9). Think there was also a relay in the box. Reminds me I still need to make an inventory of what's inside.
