These are located on the inside of the car on the doorpanel.
They are black plastic rings, with a stepped surface.
I'll add a picture in a moment.
They match the uneven surface (step) of the doorpanel where the wood piece meets the vinyl part, to the backside of the vent window twist knob (which has a flat back side).
My car had only one, and it is almost broken. The other side was missing.
