Looking for just the wheel does not need to have horn or hub.

Forgive my ignorance - admittedly I know nothing about Petri steering wheels. But, is the ebay seller's starting price, $2,000, in the range of this part's market value?
 
I've seen mint ones sell for $500-900, less for ones with wear so this appears to be high, I paid on the low end for my NOS 40cm one. I don't know much about them either, size desirability/rarity etc. However if a CSL owner badly wanted a wheel actually once on a factory car then maybe it is worth the premium? We'll see what the market says.

$2000 starting bid? He is obviously not too keen about market value for BMW Petri wheels. 400mm Petris will go all day for about $300-$500 and the 380mm leather wheels (CSL) usually sell for about $600-$1000 depending on condition. Bear in mind that some of the early VW Sciroccos were also fitted with the same 3 spokes Petris.
