I noticed today that you hadn't gotten any responses to your inquiry.
I have never seen a steel expansion tank on a coupe.
All have been painted brass, as on my 2800 cs, or the plastic type on the newer models.
That said.
Is there a reason that you need/want a steel specific tank?
I know that I have not been of help in your search, wish I could help.
