Hi guys! I am about to finish my E9 but I still need to source the rocker panel mouldings that separate the body color from the black in the rocker panels.

My car is turning out great, but I still need those... just look at the pic! Really needs them

Anybody out there with a complete set in reasonably good condition?

These?
rubber or these
metal trim?
Where is your location:
Thomas

Thank you, Thomas! I live in Queretaro, Mexico.

And what I need is the stainless and rubber moulding that covers the sill junction to the body.

There is no stainless version! What you get from W&N is the black one. It's the KTL ( cathodic dip coating) version which is standard in car industrie nowadays. Only needs to get painted but make sure the paint shop will not harm the KTL. It fits very well to the car (but mostly the cars don't fit well to the trim anymore so little adjustments might be necessary).
The price rose sharply during the past years, anyhow it makes no sense to look for used one, at least not at your location. In the end you wouldn't gain nothing.

maybe you mean the exterior molding ?
if i look at your car, what is missing in the pic is the molding, (part 1 in drawing)

it is chromed metal and rubber integrated in the same piece

original parts quality is better, but there are NLA, so i would go W&N

which colour is your car ? repainted ? which paint brand did you use ? solvent / water based ?

saludos

Yep, I think @deQuincey has the right part that victor was looking for.
Bmw originals ran out around 2016.
Walloth&Nesch has repro's, which are ok-isch, just a tad different as they are not left and right unique anymore.

But they are likely your only option, thus the best one available...

Thank you, guys!

I ended ordering the parts from Wallottnesch.... I am surprised about shipping cost, very attractive. I will have to wait for the "surprise" on taxes, but that is another story.

And to answer deQuincey's question: The car was restored and repainted to Baikal blue, using Standox materials. I don't believe it is water based.
The leather was changed but we had it duplicated with the closest to the original tone and grain. I just need to do a few more details to finish it. Saludos igualmente!

Thank you all for your help,
Victor
