WTB the bracket that attaches to the AC evaporator attachment plate

My plate is shown in the first photo, sitting on the table top
I think I am missing a bracket that attaches towards the rear of this plate, see second photo
Not that my plate is slightly different than the one shown in the car with the bracket attached
Thanks!

@mark99,

If you don’t have much luck, this should be very easy and quick to fabricate with aluminum angle. You will need a taller piece for the tunnel portion of the bracket. Since angle is symmetrical you will need to trim down the top piece. An angle grinder or band saw will cut through aluminum like butter.

I was trying to avoid making one, it is really a T bracket, the horizontal leg goes forward and aft for stability, so I would have to figure out how to do that
Maybe it doesn't have to do that

I doubt that it matters but you can get an aluminum T. I only recommend aluminum because it is a lot easier to work with.

Hope ya find one! It's gonna take a LOT of patience to reinstall the AC box and that plastic vent contraption on top, give yourself plenty of time. ;)

What hold the vent thing in place? friction? there doesn't seem to be any fastener holes, clips etc.

Patience is also ‘holding’ it together....lots of it in fact.
