Pivoting to buying either the whole WSW assembly or any part of the driver side assembly that has the assembly that has the post sticking up to the WSW base. It's for a 1972 US 3.0 CS.
Thanks and regards, Jon
probably a smart idea, if you can buy the drivers side pivot point (#21), then you can just attach it to the rods and leave it in tact (unless it is loose)
High John/Ives,
pretty sure you'll need more than just the knurled nut. I recommend to diassemble the complete arrangement and inspect your bearings. Then we'll see. Have a look here:
He can also make them with a bolt on wiper arm from a very late car (1975)? I bought this set and he sent me the bolt on version by mistake. Tom was kind enough to find a set of wiper arms for me so it worked out great. I did also get a pivot arm for the Bavaria which is different, so I had to swap out the arms and mill the original to fit. Just make sure that the straight arm has a link in it. I also took them both apart and shortened the shaft a thread so that they spun more easily. It seemed that there was more resistance than necessary. So while it took some work I now have two perfect brand new pivots. I feel they were worth the cost. Tom is great to be the middle man on these.
