I have the trans but need the speedo drive gear also

I'm considering selling mine but if someone knows where to locate the drive please share...
 
The mechanical speedometer adapter assembly for an 85 , 5 speed is still a good part number ( E-24) Penske. So my guess is that BMW has them still. Roughly $130 US. without discounts.

There are many speedometer specialists which can make up an angled drive adapter if there's a particular issue.

But perhaps I misunderstood....good luck and happy hunting.
