Have you removed yours from your car yet? Tell me if your spring is straight or if it has a slight upward bend to it at the end. Either the spring breaks or the casting cracks apart.

i have 2 of them with broken springs. i had bought a NOS spare a few years ago ... when i was working on the door a few weeks ago, i realized that the door brake was broken ... so now, no more spare. i guess its time to start looking for one of the alternate types that we can use

I have 3 of these, someone needs to tell me if they are the correct ones for a CS, I kept them from back when I was working on coupes. Now I have a day job... Sorry Don, I couldn't resist!
