Howdy all-
Just finished a short dusk shakedown run, testing lighting systems/guages etc. (car has a new 12 circuit Painless racing harness & 100 amp GM alternator) and "Elvis" seems to be pulling thru rehab well. He still hits the sauce hard (weber 32/36s running too rich, fouls plugs) but all the drama over the past 22 months (planned for 12..doh!) appears to be paying off. Hopefully his heart (motor) has still has some solid performances left, he runs good but needs a guru's touch. Pricilla won't tolerate a heart transplant right now....... :wink:
The racing exhaust (yes, very intoxicating) was way too loud for big city life :evil: ...so the ol' stock system went back on (thankfully the racing side exhaust swaps right in for special events/runs :twisted
and Elvis is back in 'whispering bomb' mode singing lullabies...
Now I just have to finish the King's new track jumper.....
