Yellow headlights, hot or not?

I had the pleasure of having an e12 with yellow headlights flowing me, I did not enjoy it.

visually from the exterior (looking at the car) ... to me it depends on the car color. from a driving perspective (in the surrounding cars), i hate it for the same reason as Chris has stated.

It depends on your continent.

Here in north America, people just don't run yellow headlights. They're probably illegal in the US. So as HB Chris wrote, if someone behind you in running them, they're obnoxious. If a police officer catches you with them, you might get a ticket.

In Europe, things may be different.

I have yellow high beams and driving lights, they are easier on the driver's eyes than white ones imo, providing a nicely lit area in front. I always dim them for oncoming traffic. Normal low beams. I think yellow low beams are illegal in most states, yellow high beams and driving lights are legal where I am.

Yellow fogs are fine, not as bright. It's the lo beams as high beam is never on when following.

in 1999 the law changed to all white
