Recently picked up an excellent condition flywheel off a ‘90s era M5 for a song, thinking it would work for my ‘74 e9 auto/manual upgrade.
I’m planning on running triple webers, and have both the original m30 engine and an m90 from early euro 6’er that is already manual flywheel.
Should/can I use the e34 M5 flywheel on the m90 engine? The m90 was L-Jet originally.
I have a Getrag 5-spd, CoupeKing mount assembly, and all the ancillary parts, hopefully, ready to go.
Also, would e28/e24 M5/M6 clutch assembly be the way to go on this? I have the standard clutch setup,,, would it be sufficient for a sunny day weekend driver car?
Thanks for any input!
