I have seen this car in person. Lots of little details need attention. Older restoration with nice paint with some imperfections now. Car is a salvage title car. Front end accident. Looks fine and accident happened a long time ago when values wee lower so they totaled the car apparently as per shop owner. The slush box kills the value, for me at least.

Says 5 speed CR transmission, that should be fun.
Nice car.

+1

Worth taking a peak at and out for a test.
If they put in a CR tranny, maybe they put in or it has an LSD?

Find a dirt patch on the test drive and see if it lays two streaks.

I wouldn't toss it outta bed for eatin' crackers...looks likes a nice driver.

I stand corrected. The car has a 5 speed.....a conversion from an automatic. Still has the word "automatic" on the rear. Got it confused with another Sahara coupe in their showroom that had sold but was sitting there that I looked at. That was the slush box car. The converted coupe had a mild cam in the engine. The shop owner started the car for me and it did not catch right away and would not stay running, however, the engine sounded good when he gave it some gas and no smoke on start up. Definitely worth a look. The salvage title will always raise a question and should factor in on the oricing.

The same seller has offered a few 2002 tii's over the last few months that looked pretty nice

Saw the Malaga Tii they have there now. Long term ownership. Nice body and paint, OK interior. Front clip was replaced at some point with one from a later Tii, so front grills make the car look like it is a later car. Has mostly lots of little details needing attention to in order to warrant the price IMO (around $20k or so I believe).
