Does anyone know if the second generation (six cyl.) E9 and E3 share the same seat track dimensions/configuration? Are seats directly interchangeable?

Tracks may be the same but e3 seats are much larger and rear of backrest is very different.

How do they differ? Width, length, shape of track? I'm not swapping E9/E3 seats, just looking for an adapter for a Scheel.

look at the part numbers in realoem, the bav seats do share numbers with e12 and e24. just not the e9
The best thing you can do is get the scheels and see how far off they are. I've seen them mounted to recaro universal sliders.
