Building out my tool kit...

Gents,

I'm building out my tool kit, starting from scratch. Parts in my possession:

Red screwdrivers (both)
Valve Tool
Blue Cloth

Questions -

1.) what are the other parts (#'s) included inside a complete tool box?
2.) where can I buy them, economically?

EBay for the wrenches and pliers. Mid 70's - early 80's BMW have similar tools so those can usually be found cheaply.

Otherwise BMW still sells the whole shebang (with green handled screw drivers) # 71111115329 or you can price them at individually at BMW

in a recent look at samstag, they no longer have the wrenches or one of the pliers on their website. i do think heyco is still making them - at least they are still on their website.

i am not so sure that the green screwdrivers fit in the clamshell ... or at least not very well.

might be true about coupes - i bought a 73 bavaria in the early 80's ... and it did have a blue cloth in the tool kit. i still have it. i wish i had kept the red screwdrivers
