Wanted: Push button compartment catch

With my driver side compartment catch, the pin slides out so it won't close. I have tried fixing to no avail. I have to push the pin in every 3 closings.

It is the 1972 chrome style. If anyone has one, I'm interested of course.

There is a compartment on ebay for a BIN of $400, with the button catch I'm looking for, obviously looking for something more reasonably priced.

I have a spare from my NK but I can't get the locking nut off. You are welcome to it for free even if only for parts. I might try to Dremel the nut off.
