Would BBS RS with gold centers and polished lips look appropriate for an Agave coupe ? Would it be reminiscent of a " throwback" style that could still work today, or could it be too blingy ?

It would look awesome! TodB has a Nachtblau with gold BBS RSs that looks fantastic. The Fjord pic is my inspiration for Athena, though she sports silver BBS RSs.

Absolutely. My car has gold centers. I'll be swapping the enkeis out, but not because of the color.

Ulrich has nice gold centers on his bbs Mabel's, Turkis coupe. Green and gold is a longstanding color combination. I would say that gold plated centers would be a bit bling you but even that wouldn't look bad.

Very subjective. You will have people who will love it or don't like the look. Not a fan of "color" (other than silver) wheel centers myself. My pick is for the standard silver RS... such a beautiful classic wheel.

Upload a profile shot of your car and I'll photoshop some gold and silver bbs rs's. Include the desired diameter. I likely can't get to it until late this evening but I'll try for lunch.

Andrew,
Both of those Coupes look good with the gold centers. Is the Fjord sporting 17's, or does it just look that way because it's lowered ? ( Awesome stance, BTW)

I love that wheel, and I think that color combination will look great.

EJ333,

You didn't post your agave so I snagged this one from the web. It's the super clean one for sale in SFBay. I'm not going to do a silver version, you get the idea! :)

Edit: BTW my wheel source was a golf yellow E9 so the photoshopped image below has the correct wheel offset and lip depth.

Amazing how much better the car looks without the silly US reflectors. Can you also move the mirror forward on the door? I think that position not only looks better, but also provides better visibility.

Haha you know I almost moved the mirror. Mine is up front, albeit off the car at the moment. I can move it but I will respectfully decline for now. It is a bit harder to do because you need to redraw the headrest where the old mirror position was. It's harder to do than just cloning paint and reflections for things line sidemarkers.
