16" Alpina's on ebay from the UK

These seem off to me. They are 20 spokes, which is good. Those aren't original alpina center plates. The softlines have a lock on the plate and the hole is quite a bit bigger. Those have a stainless hex nut.

Also, every ET11 alpina wheel that I have seen has at least an inch of lip, whereas these have none. They look more like ET35. Think about it this way, the one inch difference that I mentioned equates to 25mm. If you took a 7" wheel and changed it from ET35 to ET11, you would be moving the wheel center over 24mm outwards, about an inch. That gives you a 1" lip.

Is it me or is the black center painted wrong?
I think the diameter of the black should extend further out.

Softlines wheels weren't painted black in the center. This person just painted them that way. I did the same with my Alpinas when I sold them. There is a natural stoping point, which is a lip that overhangs the lug area. It is the lip that the center plate lock and tabs grab onto.

Alpina

They are not the classic open lug Alpinas they are soft lines dressed as open lug. Not nice IMO, and not showing on the EBay UK site.

These are E36 Alpinas - they have the wrong offset for E9s. These should also have caps - the strange centre is due to the extra ridge to locate the caps.

These could be used with spacers, however the dish looks wrong.
