Sorry for the dumb question but the net isn't really giving me an answer. So I pulled the diff out of a parts Bavaria I have and when I grab both output flanges they both only turn together. No slip at all and both turn same way. If I grab pinon same thing both turn and no slip... There is no "S" stamped on the case and its a 3.6. Having never had a limited slip is it possible for for it to be such a high percentage that I won't be able to induce any slip? Common sense is telling me it may be welded...but I guess common sense would really tell me to open it up.....which I didn't really want to do yet.
Any input from those in the know is appreciated.
BTW this is one of the late Rich Gehrings old cars and was involved heavily with the BMWCCA autocrossing community here in San Diego as well as the Brecht Motorsports team.. Which leads me to believe its not stock....
