i wont use Bilstien, neither Belstien, i would prefer Bilstein's, those are what i have in my car together with CN's springs and stock sway bars

i have never tried Kani, errr Koni, rgds

If you have a '74, Bilstein HDs may not fit. The strut towers in my car were about 2mm too small in diameter. Had to buy used struts to handle the Bils...

Koni shocks for the e9's are no longer produced. I do prefer them, and was able to find a set of new old stock (F & R) from Classic Garage in Brewster NY (www.classicgarage.com).

I'll be removing a set of Bilsteins with stronger than stock springs in a few weeks (rears fit well, but are a one tube shock, with a rubber 'dust cover' on the bottom).

For my 'cruising and moderately agressive street driving, Bilsteins are a bit firm, while the adjustable feature of Koni allows me to get it 'where I want it'.

Just my personal experience and opinion. Others certainly feel differently.
