Hello

An example of what we have to face -sometimes- overhere.

A 1972 BMW "630" 3.0 CS, original, with strange seats and a completely original clim (I keep looking for it in the orange books), controlled from the loud speaker (another mod ?).
Some of you may know this italian mod (the condair unit is in the glove box).

The seller asks around 45000 euros for it and does not know -obviously - what he is selling.
He does not show the engine bay (I wonder why ?).

I'm no e9 expert but I'm good at the internets...As far as the seats go. I think they are original...

Also, it's not uncommon to have dealer-installed AC units back then. Whether you call that original or not is up for debate. Personally, I think the car looks fantastic and I think the retro AC controls are pretty neat. It looks like an exceptionally clean time capsule to me. Minus the momo and single DIN radio, the interior looks original and spotless (including carpet), the paint is clean, the wheels are minty with period correct tires, the chrome is nice. I honestly don't have enough information to determine why it is *not worth $45K.

Thanks for the information on the seats, I did not know that version ...
But I wonder why a professional dealer selling a car 50 000 euros, is not showing the engine bay ...
Concerning the italian condair, it was fitted whem owners did not want the costy BMW one .
Many cars coming from Italy have it .
But as you said, nice time capsule, that's what E9 owners are looking for, after all..

Aftermarket A/C from the 70's, really ugly imho.
A pity the headrests are not with car and expect that the car is not so fantastic as described: many dealers here are new into the classic cars market and most of them don't know the cars, their problems and what is original and what is not.

Do you think that the car came with headrests. My CSI has leather and no headrests, which seams like an odd combo. Like this one it has the factory headrest plugs.
