Yeah crazy mony $70 a set plus shipping and I make zero.
My cousin made the mold. They come out identical to OEM
Stan it is great that you put in the effort to repro key items. And don't even seen a profit. But could you share some insight on why an item like this is so resource intensive to make? In this case it seems that a large factor is something other than the mold?
It is the mold. If I made 10,000 bungs then th eset up labor would be amortized over 10,000 and they would cost $2.00 each. Kinda like many reproduction parts. When BMW made them, they made thousands so each unit is cheap. Since only a few are wanted, the cost per goes up. Like the pop-up wind deflector parts.
