Is there anyone who is contemplating an order from W&N? IF so, I'd like to piggyback on your order and will contribute $20 toward your shipping costs. There is one item I want to buy, but the shipping costs for just one item make it a bit too expensive. Send me a PM if you would like to 'team up' on an order.

Cheers,

Yes I think I will be ordering soon. My only question is if it will be worth it because then the goods coming to me would have to be forwarded to you. I will be getting panels etc so the shipment would have to come to me first. But happy to be part of a team order.

Anyone else?

Where are you 2 located?
I have ordered quite a few times from WN in the last few months and probably more to go..
My car is in CO (I live in WA)

I'm in southeast PA.

The items I'll order are small, (4 chrome caps for the top of the seatbacks where the headrest rods go into the seat), and a wiper switch (one with a stalk) for the later cars.

I 'might' also order some rubber seals, but won't know for sure about that for another few weeks.

So - my parts could all be sent from the west coast of the US for about $15, thus not a lot of savings if I contribute $20 to the shipping costs!

Let's keep it going!!!

I'm ordering panels as well as a cam. Are you going to the Vintage?

I am located in Indiana and WILL be going to Vintage. But I am not sure if it will all get here before then. I will be ordering floor pans, seals and other trim items. I have had DHL orders arrive in a good week but that is still cutting it fine.

I need floors for my 02 but may very well find them in Asheville and you are probably correct in that it might not get here in time. I've got time as I won't be headed to the body shop until August

So are there many parts on offer at Vintage? I might hold off with the order then because the W&N offer goes through to June.

parts at the vintage

Realistically, the Vintage is less about parts, more about cars and camraderie...Not alot of dedicated vendors. That said, there are usually surprises. Our board member Al Taylor always has some interesting things (and it would be wise to PM him if you have a request..), and there is a smattering of folks like me that fill up the trunk with accumulated extras or collected interests (radios, wheels, seats...) I usually make a few t-shirts for the halibut...Korman usually has a tent, the bmw folks, and other aftermarket folks; go expecting to enjoy what may show up, but not with the expectations of NOS sheet metal or multiple Alpina airboxes.
FYI...I don't know if Mike Pelly (west coast) is still around this board, but he used to make repro stampings of e9 and 2002 (I think) floor sheetmetal. Very nice from what I was told.
(Sorry, didn't mean to step on your thread Gary..)

Well, I'm on the east coast, so DHL shipping here is probably cheaper than to anywhere else in the USA. IF some of you want to piggy back on my order, and share the shipping costs from Germany, I'll make add your items (W & N part numbers needed) to my order. I'll ship them to you via either FedEx (I have an account) or USPS whichever is cheaper from here.

Let's not put large pieces in this order, however. US shipping should probably be only small parts that fit in a small box or padded envelope and total weight is less than 3 lbs or so. Does that make sense???

So, I'll start a list of 'orderers' here. Let me know who to add, and you can let me know your part numbers and identification name via PM.

Cheers,

Bumping this up for one more 'view' to see if there is anyone else who would like to piggyback to reduce the shipping cost from W & N for a few small parts. So far, only my 2 parts and those that 'Bill' wants are on the list.

I'd like to place an order by no later than June 1. Please respond via a PM with the W & N parts you want, and their part number.

I'll contact directly regarding how to pay for the parts I'm going to order. After the order is placed, W & N will respond with the shipping cost. I'll then place the order and ask to be paid for the cost of 'your' parts, plus your portion of their shipping costs. I'll include an 'estimate' for shipping them to you via USPS or FedEx to be included in that payment.

Sound fair? IF so, add your name and parts to the list.

Cheers,
