Well, I finally made the time to create a photobucket with pictures of the Professor. The pictures with the Freeman Motors banner are the pictures of the car when I purchased it 2 years ago. I've since put over 50k not including the price of the car bringing up to its current condition. Everything has been touched after the purchase.

AC refurbished
All new brakes and lines
Full cooling system
Suspension and Shocks
Glass out, trim and bumper off paint
New rubber trim in the whole car
Tires and wheels
Interior wood trim
Becker California radio works but is not hooked up. A modern radio with Bluetooth and hidden mic
Refurbished VDO Clock
Refurbished Speedometer and new cable (exact mileage unknown)

Too much to list

Robert,

as this is a high-priced sale of a 2800cs, i hope that you will publish / document the price for value of other high-value 2800cs. or at least provide the information to the administrators of the forum that details can be kept private, but help others in need of value documentation

thanks
scott

I don't get it. Why does he need to do this? Isn't that the job of prospective buyers to see if it's priced right given its condition and desirability?

Robert, Beautiful car! Look like a good one, and I think priced right, considering the cost of quality restoration work.
Well done!

It helps to establish a baseline. If prices are always held privately the baseline is inaccurate. Classic car values are set at auction and it is rare to find any non-CSL's at auction, especially the 2800CS. Private party sale figures are much more accurate. We regularly see the disparity between Hemings numbers and ads on here. The token rusty $25K CS is a great example of that.

+1

And I am maintaining a spreadsheet of sale prices so I would love to know the eventual sales price. Seller info is private.

Hey you leave my car out of this. :) :)

Might wanna host your photos on something other than photobucket, I feel like you owe me money now after having to deal with that experience.

Heck, it took me 3 months to just find the time to get the car on a lift to take pictures. Photobucket is a PITA. For the good of the group I will happily post the price I sell the car for.

Let me know your constructive thoughts on what your opinion of a fair market price is.
