I need to simplify, and using PMs could get problematic for me.

The approximate cost of a badge, including USA shipping will be $60. It may or may not include a lapel pin, key fob, and or window sticker. Hopefully the badge + all three.

There has been some discussion about updating the design. Both runs that I did were based on the original design. My sole purpose was to make the original design available once again with its "dated design" and "USA" located where it is. And I know that offends the design sensibilities of some.

If the badges were undergoing a real freshening, an update or a radical redesign I would probably be on board.
But these will be true to the original. Warts and all. As I have said before, this in part a homage to Art Wegweiser and those who came before and after him.


I will probably use the free Priority Mail boxes, that include insurance and tracking. International shipping, extra of course.

I will NOT do paypal. It cost money, I do not like their fees or rules and I have had issues. It will be paper checks or money orders.

Steve, PayPal has since made it possible for the sender to pay the fees, not you the recipient. The convenience could increase sales, just a thought.

Good point Steve. I will mull it over. And build the paypal fees into the price of course. Looking through my records today I did see that a couple of international buyers used paypal. In its infancy then.

The option in PayPal to send money to 'friends and family' has no fee to either receiver or sender IF it is sent from a PayPal balance or the senders bank account. It can still be sent as a credit card payment, but then the sender pays the cc fee, not the receiver. Works great for family and people you know. I've used it frequently.

Gary, might paypal feel that 75+ payments of the same amount go beyond their definition of "friends and family?"
 
Pics? Also increase price if done through PayPal or like said before send as a gift. PayPal is great.

Also what I was saying is I will gladly pay the extra 2.9% (which on $60 is $2.10) so I do not have to go buy a stamp, an envelope, write a check (dont think I even have any) then run to the post office and drop the letter off...

I can just do it through my phone with a few button clicks.
 
Okay, okay, will do paypal. We can work out the details when I have 75 firm orders. But I will do this ONLY through my private email: [email protected]

And we are a long way from that magic number. So if you are wavering, stop. If you still want to try PMs don't. Commit. I already have a badge, lapel pin and fob. Now it is up to the rest of you.
