My '72 CS won the People's Choice award at yesterday's BMW CCA Boston Chapter Show and Shine. Honestly, the only reason that it won is because I showed everyone the "before" pictures, pictures of my doing all of the repairs at home, and no other Coupe showed up.

But certainly there were many other lovely BMWs there, although not quite as lovely as our coupes. Well done. Any photos to pass around?

The Z8 was not there this year. That one is stunning. A nice golf 2002 Tii, and lots of newer models. A very nice mid-80s 6-series was tied until the final vote was cast, so it was a close thing.

I took a picture of every car there, but got distracted by questions and didn't take a picture of my own car. The Boston chapter will post pictures soon.
