Upholster-So Cal Los Angeles

Can anyone recommend a good reasonable upholster in the So Cal Los Angeles Area? I purchase these some time ago to replace my recaro seats and have vertical stiching. I have learn now that my 74 should have had horizontal stiching, so if someone has or want to trade this would also be considered. Thanks

For a good and reasonable auto interior guy in SoCal.

I just saw my favorite local guy this afternoon whom I have known for 20 years--John, owner of Universal Upholstery in Costa Mesa 949-642-3387.

John is an old world European craftsman with about 45 years of fine car experience--BLUMAX is included among his satisfied customers as well as several E-9's i have taken to him for small and large needs--always done timely at reasonable cost. His son Lee is another craftsman--trained by Father--has a shop just acroos from Universal--Lee specializes in convertible tops and sunroofs.

Everyone whom I have referred who has used his/their services for interior work, etc. have been very pleased. John is also among the vintage Porsche group favorites for his fine, yet affordable work.

The interior work on Mike's car is absolutely stunning in person. I met Juan at the unveiling of Mike's car; it is pretty cool to see a craftsman beaming with pride as he watches a handful of really picky car nuts closely scrutinize his work.
