Hi De Q. I also got a new one, I know you won't like this but I found a "universal" one that works at the local auto parts store. Way too far down the modified road in the blue coupe to look elsewhere

thank you for your answers,
friend went to the dealer and the part number produced an ultra modern plastic squared switch after a week or so, a carry over thing to Z3 et others
it seemed difficult to attach that one to the actual setup
found a replacement for him elsewhere
