I need peace and quiet in my life so I want to get it gone!! My loss your gain. Represented as a dogleg when I bought it and the guys has now gone south!

Saw the title to this thread and thought you dropped the tranny onto the garage floor while working on your car. Glad I was wrong.

No but I had an old 4 speed that came out of an original owner 74 E9 and it pissed all over the floor.a few weeks ago. That's what started it. Then the headers I have laying on the floor plus boxes of E24 metric gauges and a work bench literally piled 2' high got it started. I won't get into the tantrums. But I am sure plenty know about that!!

I just went and looked at it again. There isn't any slop in either the input shaft or tail shaft and it turns smoothly. The fellow I bought it from said he had it in a storage facility for a lot of years. He said he closed his shop down many years ago. When I bought the trans, we had a dispute over shipping costs and he refunded my money. I then sent him a prepaid shipping bill, repaid him and he shipped promptly. So although I couldn't get in touch with him after I received it, I have to think he was straight

How 'bouht short blocking a Ferrari motor on the dining room table and hand lapping the valves there as well? Or after expoxy coating the block, sticking it in the oven to harden. Well, that was another wife ago. Oh yeah, she was trying to snag the Ferrari crank to have made into a lamp. Well I traded her for one who could care less about cars unless it is Pebble Beach or the Biltmore in Phx. She whose name must not be mentioned. is a tough lady but the arm candy makes up for it.!!

You win!

You guys should stop complaining.
Imagine how pissed you'd be if your SO hung her bras and panty hose on your lift to dry, or if she used your snap-on 19mm full polish long offset combo wrench to hammer some nails for hanging panther baskets, or if she dug up
Dandelions with the Mac screwdriver you use to adjust your carbs.

Her oven is for food, my oven in the workshop for curing paint. She's got her tooth brush and I never try to borrow it to clean parts. Keep it simple guys.
