Both windows should be down to safely remove them without threat of shattering glass. Front so you can slide off the arm, rears because it's scary enough. Both need to come out to get to the motors.

Thanks! I did this a few months ago but most of my car repairs happen between 12am and 2am. So in short, one may need this tool once to repair or replace motors, then it is clamshell art.
