...A Forum search has some detail on Colortune being used to get fuel/air mix right with carbs but just wondering if anyone has used with D-Jet to get the "right" setting on the ECU ?......Cheers, Simon

I would think an AFR gauge would be better since you are not tuning individual cylinders.

Thanks Steve, guess I will need to investigate how to use ...is it "simple" to do ? ....does the ECU setting get changed manually based on what the AFR gauge reading is ? ie +/- oxygen depending on AFR reading ?. Or something else ?

Sorry I don't know how to adjust the ecu on injection as I have carbs. But I would think if someone else here knows how to do that you could either install an AFR permanantly as several of us have done or go to a place that has AFR (dyno shop comes to mind) and adjust there. You'll want to make sure you have safe AFR under different conditions most notably WOT and idle. 12.5-13.

The ecu and the fuel pressure regulator are adjustable
The MPS can be exchanged for one with higher or lower ms settings
Plugs can be exchanged for colder or hotter range
Timing will change AFR
Valve lash will change compression and reduce pinging

Whatever you do- make a note of humidity and temp when you tune
40% humidity is worth 4* of advance
