Brake Rotors - Best place to buy?

Sorry if this has been posted before, I could not find.

Where is the best place to find new rotors? Seems everywhere I look either has them back ordered, or something, not in stock or available or something. Sites say they have them but when it come right down to it they are for another car. Frustrating!

Will the ones off of a Bavaria work?

Mine are all out of spec to turn and reuse.

I think early (pre 82?) e24 rotors work. So any place that sells those (ebay?).

I had some trouble finding rotors earlier this year too. I think I ended up buying mine from Rock Auto: http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/bmw,1972,3.0cs,3.0l+l6,1011070,brake+&+wheel+hub,rotor,1896

I've never bought a Delco part for a BMW, but they list rotors here.

I’ll second the bavauto discs. I just put them on my 74. They appear to be good quality and are working well with EBC greenstuffs.

If you have a shop you might be able to check out worldpac, I bought a lot of stuff for foreign cars from them

Yes, my Mercedes Tech buddy got me a set via worldpac. They don'y carry rears, but I will look at everyone's suggestions. I honestly have no put a Mic on the rears yet.
