Heater box wanted.

Can anyone help?
In one of the CSL's we are currently restoring the heater box that houses the matrix is really badly cracked and has been glued before but has again broken into about 6 parts, we can glue it back together (better than the last persons attempt) and reinforce it this time but if someone has a heater unit for sale then it would be far better. Our heater matrix is ok and leak free so just a box would be ok.

I have a complete box out of a 35000 mile car. Car had terrible rust and is being converted into a track car.

I've got to look but I think I sold the control panel to the guy that bought the AC unit and front panel.
I'll check and let you know.

Yikes, shipping to the UK. I figured out a reasonable way for some parts to Spain a while back.

yes Gary, i bought the control panel ... so you don't have it to sell. if you can't come to an agreement on shipping, i will buy the box too ... but i realize that i am second in line

Well since Paul is in the UK and Gary has a potential second buyer...

Paul,

Check with @pat cooks. He picked up a CSL and. CS parts car in the UK. He may be able to spare a heater box and control panel.
 
I just wanted to say how amazing and appreciated it is that Markos has the memory of an elephant and the synapse network response of a super computer to be able to connect various corners of our group for everyone's benefit. He's helped me out in the past - thank you. Bravo!

Haha Thanks! Funny you reference a super computer because I typed that message while debugging a 2000 line SQL script. :D

I saw one on eBay (uk ) for sale a few weeks ago
 
I may well have a heater, now where is it ???????

I will add it to the list of parts to find, finished insulating my shed yesterday, 4" of snow today..............
 
Gary, i will buy the box for the new project ... if Pat doesn't buy it ... because he is first in line.
 
I did not find my spare heater with control panel today but the more I looked the more I am sure I have one, somewhere, the problem is that when I retired I dumped about 10 large van loads of used and new BMW parts into my new shed and have been slowly sorting and shelving the parts but there are still lots of unmarked boxes not to mention around 10 large tesco shopping trolleys full of unsorted parts, I will take another look this week, Pat
