Any idea why a previously working right hand side wiper would stop operating? I have the old style fuses and thought perhaps one of those control the wipers? (on a side note, anyone know how many amps the black fuse is?) Thanks.

Both wipers work as a unit. If one stopped, it is about to fall off. Sometime the splined piece will disconnect from the shaft and the shaft will drop into the tub beneath. Check.

Whatever you do- Don’t connect the plug into the wiper while the battery is connected.
You can cycle the motor with your hand trapped under the blower cover.

Thanks, I will check linkage. What do you mean connect the plug into the wiper? You mean the wires to the wiper motor? I wasn't planning on disconnecting anything yet, but good note.

Disconnect the battery when working on your wipers. I’m not sure what the German word for guillotine is but it probably translates to “wiper linkage”.
