I've had a good experience with EGO BGO actually. This wheel ins't a terrible deal but there are some caveats. It is missing the Petri horn button, which goes for $100 - $200 used. Also, the hub is a custom machined hub by EGO. It is a good quality reproduction hub, it even has the ribs. From a safety standpoint, it isn't collapsible steel the way that the original Petri hub is. I don't find that terribly concerning. He makes the rings and the hubs. I don't know if he gets the covers from Coupeguy or if he makes them himself. So with that said, if you take a relatively expensive VW wheel and add all of your own parts, there is a decent profit margin to be made. More power to him though as nobody else is doing it, and the wheels look nice. The only thing I don't like about this ad is the non-petri horn button. I'm sure he can source an original one for a bit extra if you reach out.
 
If i can add something:
1. Hub cover was cut from VW hub cover (3 rings reduced to 2)
2. Horn button is genuine BMW Momo
