Can someone point me at a source for the black plastic part for the shifter handle? Does something newer retrofit? Thanks.

Well alrighty then. Harder to find at my house than yours apparently. Selling one?
Not easy to install, just did this on a 2002. Looks straight forward but not quite, need to loosen bottom of shaft first and also remove button from driver side. It’s in the Blue Books.
How bout 40 bucks shipped?
I think Don uses these as door stops at his shop.
