Coppa Classic "Concours D'Elegance" Belgium

Hi Guys,

Thought I share this with you. Yesterday I received confirmation that my CS was selected as one of only 30 cars to participate as this year "Concour's D'elegance" at the Coppa Classic on the 10th of June here in Belgium.

Seems they only have a website in Dutch but at least it will give you an idea of the type of event:

Goes without saying that I'm a little bit proud. Competition will be harsh but I hope to score some points for authenticity and history. Anyway I'm attending with the Olympic spirit: "Participating is more important than winning".

I'll share some pictures after the show and will keep you posted as to the result.

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that the CS made it on to the podium.

Shared 3th place in the category 1966-1975

1st place Peugeot 504 CC Cabriolet 1974
2th place Audi 100S Coupe 1975
Shared 3the Mercedes 280 SE 3,5 1971 and yours truly BMW 3.0 Cs 1971

Goes without saying that I'm very happy.

And the verdict. No pictures of the final podium run yet because both my wife and I were in the car and as such couldn't take pictures. Trophy still has to be engraved as well because they didn't fore see a shared 3th place. All in all a great day.

congrats Philippe ! i had planned to visit on Sunday.... untill a last minute gathering was organized with the children and grandchildren.... it was "father" day .... i forgot that !
