57/57 of the Bats, is the owner already here? Can he/she post or elaborate more about this coupe.....?

Spotted post on 2002 FB page -- worth a share IMHO

Hi Mo,
I remember this Bat for sale about 8 years ago in Freiburg at (just before the Csl boom started) and then getting a 100%, all new panels etc restoration by Dieter Tôgel in Wiesbaden. I thought the car was going to the Middle East after the resto, but evidently not. It sold then, before restoration for less than what some CSI’s cost today.

Keshav,

I believe this car is now in the US -- see more pictures in garage alongside M1 --

Fit & finish look really good.

Actually.......note the CSL strip on the quarter -- thin by the door & thick by the rear lights.....

might be a fraction lower, also depends on the angle you are looking at........

Aw Mo, that wouldn’t make #57 any the less. :)
But why do you think it’s in the US? You know with whom (don’t reveal;) ) I see no US tell tail signs, or am I missing something.

From original post on Facebook it appears to be a friend of a 2002 owner & I think they both live in the middle of the country-- not East or West coast that is.....

I wonder if that is deQ's car...I only say that cause that garage is so immaculate, something only he can achieve.

i wonder how they make torque without longer intake runners.... we had only 240 NM with just the Webers/inlet trumpets. With the longer intake runners we had again the 300 NM.
