I am thinking Malaga

Granted, I haven't seen *nice Granada in the flesh, but it is a pretty dark red. I think that Granada-in-the-dark looks like Malaga-in-the-sunlight. Malaga-in-the-dark look very deep and dark. I think the pics below look darn close. Perhaps @zinz and @HB Chris can chime in as subject matter experts. No offense Ed, but I personally think that Malaga is a prettier color than Granada.

Edit: This VIN is *NOT from the 1600GT - it's just a pic of Granada.

not wondering it is for sale... new Europe legislation wants tech inspection on oldtimers and they must be in oem condition ! If they changed the rear axle … it will be huge problems….and $$$$$$

It is indeed Granada, a deep and rich red. What is strange is that the VIN is a 1600-02 early 68 build VIN and not a 1600GT unique VIN. Did they use the same series of numbers?

My apologies for the confusion, that VIN is *not from the car - just an example of Granada

Love the BHCC "needs light restoration." The Triumph engine must weigh less than the Glas if I am seeing the raised nose correctly. What a powerhouse with the slush pump. And haven't seen leaf springs since Dan's truck. Quaint.
